“Yātrā (Sanskrit: यात्रा, ‘journey’, ‘procession’) in Indian-origin traditions generally means a journey to culturally significant places, such as confluences of rivers and mountains. Visiting these places is believed to help the traveler connect with their true essence and find inner peace. The journey itself holds great importance, with the challenges of travel serving as acts of dedication and personal growth.”
