ITINERARY

April 5-15 course at Nirvana River Resort

Includes: 1 excursion to Rishikesh for Ganga Aarti and a visit to a Sacred Cave.

April 15 travel to Amristar.  We are traveling either by plane or by train. We will know as the we get an estimate of the # of people joining us. This may incur a higher rate for those registering late that will be adjusted to your registration. 

April 16-17 Amritsar, Includes: precious time at the golden temple, another Gurdwara temple including 1 super early morning of Seva, devotional practice. 

Personal time for shopping and exploring or more independent time at the golden temple

Dinner at the Wahe Guru Family home

April 18th depart after breakfast

YATRA INCLUDES

• All *yoga classes and lectures during the 11-day meditation course from Apil 5-15

  Includes: The Dreaming Retreat, the 11 -day kriya, daily yoga and meditations, live music.
  

  *Hourly schedule varies due to our meditation course in the nighttime into some early mornings. The course is immersive and intensive but with ample time to rest, meals and enjoy the surrounding.

• Room and board from April 5th (beginning with afternoon meditation and dinner on April 5th) -April 15th (ending with breakfast on the 15th)

• All group meals at the Nirvana River Resort - three meals a day

• Group excursion to a sacred cave and Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh

• Downtime for shopping, exploring Rishikesh and/or Aarti ceremony by the Ganga (optional)

*Participants landing in Delhi or when heading back to Delhi. We can make recommendations for travel agents should you need to  spend a night or two in Delhi and also to book further travel in India.

**You must have a visa to travel to India and a current passport. We suggest the 1 month tourist e-visa but there are other options as well.

Amritsar Trip Details: April 15th-18th, 2019

Itinerary:

April 15th:  Depart from Nirvana River Resort and head to Amritsar either plane or train*Details will be confrimed when recieve our general particpants. Either way we arrive inthe evening.

April 16th: : Enjoy Golden Temple, Amritsar Exploration and some shopping. More details of itinerary will be announced for those who sign up.

Fly or train out of Amritsar to next destination. If flying home from Delhi we recommend flying to Delhi and leaving enough time to make your connection. Depart after breakfast.

Cost:

Single Room - $650  for Rishikesh and Amritsar

Twin Room with Roommate- $525 each

Couple Room one bed- $525 each

Total cost for course plus Amritsar

This is a busy season in Amritsar and that will be an approaching busy weekend so please book sooner than later.

Includes:

• 3 nights in Amritsar with breakfast.

• 1 beautiful dinner at the home of the Wahe Guru family is included. Donations to their home are welcome.

• Flight to Amritsar from Dehradun (this involves a layover in Delhi and is based on availability).

• Late registrants for Amritsar may get charged slightly more for the flight if tickets prices significantly increases and/or you may have to take a different fligh or train if it is sold out and meet us in Amritsar. 

• We will need all of your passport info etc to book the tickets once you are registered. The sooner the better.

Does not include: 

• Lunch and Dinner* -Meals are generally very inexpensive in India and some meals may be preferred to be eaten independently on your time in between excursions. 

• We will also go out for a meal as a group in Amritsar and maybe have Langar at the Golden Temple, plus dinner at the Wahe Guru Family's home. 

• Overweight luggage charges on domestic flights. 23kg is the baggage limit.

• *Flights out of Amritsar to next destination. We will need to check out by 11 or 12 from the hotel. You can stay longer in Amritsar and leave luggage with the hotel and explore more. There are flights from Amritsar to Delhi should you need to fly back from Delhi and you can maybe fly that evening out or choose to stay one more day in Amritsar or in Delhi for some good Delhi shopping.  Some flights can be taken from Amritsar to the UK or transferring through Singapore or Doha. We recommend http://makemytrip.com or https://www.kayak.com to look at flights. You can also take a longer train ride to Delhi should you be interested and we can connect you with booking agents if needed. 

ACCOMMODATIONS

Deluxe cottages and Luxury Swiss camp are situated near Heval River in a peaceful valley on the outskirts of Rajaji National Park. River Heval is at just a minute walk from the rooms. Please note participants have an option of choosing between Swiss Camps (Tents) or AC Luxury (Rooms). Double and single occupancy rates for both options are the same.

Swiss Camps 
Comfortable, spacious tents made of premium weather proof ripstop canvas. Pitched over elevated concrete platforms, these provide for modern amenities like an attached bath with running water and western toilet, towel stand, lighting and a mobile charging point. All the Swiss Cottage Tents face River Hyule and give you a mesmerizing tete-a-tete with nature.

AC Luxury
Spacious, comfortable rooms with premium bedding, premium linen and modern amenities like tea/coffee maker, coffee table and chairs in a spacious sit out overlooking river Hyule. Includes a bathroom with premium fittings and cooling system.
