We begin at 12.30 the next day and at 2.00am the following day. And so on around the clock. We are joined by the young Master Ragis, Baba Fateh Singh Khalsa Jatha who play Kirtan in the Golden Temple daily. This practice is the energetic core of the first part of the Yatra and is supplemented by sacred practice in the Cave Temple at the Ganga and Fire ceremony at Parmath Niketan Ashram.
There is also time personal time available for shopping and relaxation.

The Golden Temple, Amritsar (Punjab)
Our final destination will be the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the splendid Hari Mandir Sahib. The Golden Temple is a sacred living shrine where thousands come daily to be inspired and uplifted by the holy writings of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. All hours of the day and night, Gurbani music is played, creating a continuous sound current of the Shabd Guru, an infinite algorhythm that encourages the mind to recognize the divinity within.
The Golden Temple is built of marble and gold in the middle of a lake of healing waters sacred to Lord Rama. The water, known as Amrit Sarovar or “pool of nectar” has been known since time immemorial for its power to heal all ills.
Created to serve humanity, the Golden Temple is a place of worship, meditation and Guru-ka-Langar, a free kitchen where an estimated 35,000 people are fed daily.
We will be visiting the Golden Temple at different hours to meditate, listen to kirtan, dip in the sarovar, partake of langar and simply be in the sacred vibration. We are blessed to perform ishnaan seva, to wash the marble floors of the temple in the early morning hours.
